Version 0.4.3
13 September 2026
Deeper exploration
- Genre chips on the artist view are now clickable, taking you to the Explore tab to find similar artists within that genre.
- Discography panel shows an artist's releases with year, styles, labels, and credits. Clicking a credited name opens that artist.
- Clicking a label name in the discography shows other artists on that label.
- Similar artists now show what connects them: the shared styles and labels behind the suggestion, with styles clickable to explore further.
- Style primers: a "What is [style]?" link generates a short guide covering the sound, its roots, what to listen for, and key artists. Primers are saved for offline reading.
Usability
- Switching between tabs keeps your place. An artist view or search results stay on screen when you visit Settings or Lists and come back.
- Clear button next to the search bar resets the view for a fresh search.
- Backup and restore: export your lists, favourites, and saved notes as one portable file, and restore them on another machine. A safety backup is kept before every restore.
- System, Light, and Dark appearance modes in Settings.
- The version number and an Export diagnostics action are now in the Settings footer.
- OpenAI is now supported alongside Anthropic for AI notes.
Under the hood
- Diagnostics export, backup export, and the licence file now work correctly in the installed app.
- Update banner now appears reliably when a newer version is published.
