Why I make them
The apps began as things I needed myself. The software I found was often built around an account, a cloud service, a growing subscription, or far more machinery than the problem required.
Tiong Creative is my alternative. Each app has a clear purpose, keeps its data on your Mac, and aims to be useful without becoming another service you have to manage.
How I work
My background spans product management, agency ownership, SaaS support, and product enablement. I combine that experience with modern development tools, including Claude Code and Codex, to design, build, test, and maintain each app myself.
I use these apps in my own work and life, then refine them as real use reveals what is helpful, what is distracting, and what can be simpler. You can read more about my wider work at davidtiong.com.
