Improvements
- Line breaks — single newlines in your notes now display as separate lines in the preview, PDF, and Word exports.

Version 1.19.0

New
- Export dropdown — Export PDF, Export Word, and Copy Markdown are now combined into a single Export button with a dropdown menu.
- Markdown formatting toolbar — a new toolbar with buttons for bold, italic, heading, lists, checklist, link, code, blockquote, horizontal rule, and a quick-reference cheatsheet. Click a button to insert formatting, with placeholder text pre-selected so you can type to replace.
- Popout window parity — popout note windows now include the full Export dropdown (with PDF options modal), Word export, Copy Markdown, and the Markdown formatting toolbar.
Fixed
- Dropdown behaviour — Export, Markdown toolbar, and AI dropdowns now close each other when opened, and all dismiss when clicking elsewhere.
- Cross-window editing — when you edit a note in a popout window, the main window now reloads the latest content when you switch back, preventing accidental overwrites.
